WordPress Developer (Middle / Senior)

About the project

We work with multiple client websites built on WordPress in an agency environment.
Projects include corporate websites, landing pages, and content-driven platforms with ongoing development, improvements, and support. The workflow is structured, tasks are clearly defined, and there is no direct communication with end clients.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong knowledge of WordPress Core
• Confident PHP skills
• Experience with:
  • Custom theme development
  • Child themes
  • Hooks & filters
• Solid HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• Basic understanding of MySQL
• Experience working with plugins and custom integrations
• English level: reading and understanding technical tasks (no speaking required)
• Ability to work remotely with a stable schedule

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Build and modify custom themes
• Customize existing plugins or develop custom functionality
• Fix bugs and improve performance and stability
• Optimize websites for speed and best practices
• Work with clearly defined tasks and technical requirements
• Deliver results within agreed timelines

Nice to have

• WooCommerce experience
• Performance optimization (PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals)
• Experience with ACF, CPT, REST API
• Git experience
• Experience working in an agency environment
