Product UX Designer
About the role
We’re looking for a very senior Product UX Designer to work on customer-facing and coworker-facing experiences within IKEA’s circularity & resale (buy-back) program.
You’ll focus on improving UX for:
customers selling products back to IKEA
internal systems used by co-workers to evaluate and prepare goods for resale.
The team is based in Amsterdam, with a manager in the US, so we’re looking for someone independent, proactive, and confident working in a global setup.
What you’ll do
Own end-to-end Product UX Design (discovery → delivery)
Run and contribute to product discovery, UX research, and journey mapping
Design user flows, concepts, and high-fidelity UI
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data teams
Participate in design sprints, workshops, and co-creation sessions
Measure and communicate the business value of design
Manage stakeholders across teams and locations
Requirements
6–7+ years of experience in Product UX Design
Strong background in Product Discovery / UX Research
Experience designing across multiple digital channels
Hands-on work with developers in agile teams
Strong stakeholder management skills
Human-centered design mindset
