Research Analyst

We are building a proprietary intelligence platform focused on alternative asset classes. The research team is responsible for maintaining current, high-quality market intelligence through structured analysis, primary research, and direct engagement with organizations.

This is a fully research-driven, external-facing analyst role with real responsibility for insight quality and data integrity.

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth research on organizations operating in alternative asset classes
• Identify and validate:
  • Active investment mandates
  • Strategy focus and allocation preferences
  • Meaningful organizational or mandate changes
• Review and approve self-reported information submitted by organizations
• Proactively reach out to firms to confirm, clarify, or expand on insights
• Ask precise, well-structured questions to obtain actionable information
• Maintain clear research notes, context, and approval rationale
• Continuously monitor updates and surface material changes

• Background in alternative investments, private markets, or financial research
• Experience with primary research and mandate-level analysis
• Familiarity with structured research systems or CRM-like tools
• Experience in research, consulting, institutional operations, or journalism
