Senior Designer

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Senior Product Designer is a mid-level role responsible for independently contributing to the design of user-centric, scalable, and accessible digital products. Reporting to the Director, Product Design, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions while also mentoring junior designers and contributing to team success.
You are:
• A skilled product designer with experience creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and solving complex design challenges.
• A collaborative team player who works effectively across disciplines, including Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• A detail-oriented executor who ensures designs meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• A learner and innovator who stays up to date on industry trends and continuously improves your craft.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• 2–5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio displaying impactful and user-centred design solutions for web-based applications

• Strong design skills, including interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
• Solid understanding of the structure and building principles of React.js-based web applications
• General understanding of web application architecture and its typical components
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and advocate for your design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• A collaborative and proactive mindset, with experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
• A passion for accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring products meet the needs of diverse users and audiences.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Design
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to design user-centric products, ensuring they meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and visual coherence.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from usability testing, analytics, and stakeholder input.
• Work within the company's Design System to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
• Contribute to the delivery of polished, production-ready designs that meet accessibility and usability standards.

Team Contribution
• Actively participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback to elevate the quality of the team’s work.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, contributing to a strong design culture.

Process & Design Systems
• Ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently by collaborating with engineers during development.

User Research & Insights
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align design efforts with product roadmaps and business objectives.
• Present design concepts and rationale to peers and stakeholders, clearly articulating the "why" behind your decisions.
• Seek and incorporate feedback from designers, product managers, and engineers to refine and improve solutions.
