HR Generalist

We are launching a new office in Norway and are looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will take full ownership of the HR function on-site. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone eager to build solid HR processes, support team growth, and foster a strong culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end recruitment for local positions (including relocation support if needed)
• Organizing onboarding and adaptation processes for new hires
• Managing the full employee lifecycle in compliance with Norwegian labor laws
• Developing and implementing internal HR policies tailored to the local context
• Acting as a key communication link between employees and management
• Handling contracts, compliance documentation, and liaising with legal & finance teams
• Preparing HR reporting and contributing to budgeting and workforce planning

Candidate Profile:

• 4+ years of experience in HR (HR Generalist or People Partner roles preferred)
• Strong background in recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations
• Knowledge of European labor legislation (Norwegian labor law is a strong plus)
• Ability to work autonomously and build systems from scratch
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Relocation readiness or current residence in Norway
