What You’ll Do
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our web applications and APIs.
- Test web applications (frontend & backend) manually across browsers and devices
- Test REST APIs using tools like Postman / Swagger
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into clear test cases
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly (steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results)
- Work closely with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and edge cases
- Validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved
Help improve QA processes, test coverage, and documentation over time
What We’re Looking For
Must-have:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer
- Strong experience testing web applications
- Solid experience testing REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
- Ability to write clear, structured test cases and bug reports
- Good analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice-to-have:
- Experience testing complex workflows or data-driven applications
- Basic understanding of SQL or databases
- Familiarity with browser dev tools (network tab, console, etc.)
- Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams
- Exposure to automation testing (even if not hands-on)
