Senior Business Development Manager, FinTech

To support this growth, NerdySoft is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with fintech industry experience, based in London or working remotely from the EU or Ukraine.

 

This position will be a strong fit for a professional who knows how to drive deals end-to-end, lead negotiations to closure, and has hands-on experience in software development outsourcing.

 

You will contribute to the company’s growth by building long-term relationships and nurturing a high-quality pipeline of prospects.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, predominantly within software development outsourcing, with strong fintech or banking domain expertise.
  • Proven experience closing deals with large contract sizes in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales and business processes, software development lifecycle, and delivery models, with solid exposure to web and mobile technologies and regulated fintech environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with tender and contract documentation, including RFI, RFP, SOW, MSA, NDA, etc.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with lead generation, delivery/development, recruitment, and operations teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluent English.
  • Willingness and availability to travel for business trips when required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive sales opportunities end-to-end, from the initial conversation to deal closure and contract signing.
  • Manage a qualified sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal progression and conversion into clients.
  • Collaborate with the lead generation team to qualify opportunities and fine-tune the outbound approach.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to create structured, detailed proposals that meet client expectations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and move deals through the pre-sales process, working closely with the legal team and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with decision-makers at fintech, banking, and financial services companies.
  • Represent NerdySoft at industry events and in-person client meetings.
  • Ensure a clear handover of closed deals to delivery teams, aligning expectations, scope, and commercial terms.
  • Track sales pipeline changes and maintain communication history with prospects in CRM (HubSpot).
