Business Development Manager

Hi there! 

We are looking for multiple Futures Business Development Managers to scale KuCoin’s global derivatives business and help build one of the strongest futures ecosystems in Web3.

This role focuses on expanding KuCoin’s presence across global futures trading communities by working closely with KOLs, influencers, brokers, traders, and strategic partners. You will play a key role in driving user growth, product adoption, and trading volume through high-impact business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, brokers, KOLs, trading communities, and ecosystem partners
• Identify and execute new partnership opportunities to grow futures users and trading volume
• Plan and coordinate co-marketing campaigns and activation initiatives with external partners
• Collect and analyze feedback from communities, partners, and power users
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to influence new futures features and product optimizations
• Help position KuCoin as a top global destination for futures traders
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve KPIs related to user growth, trading volume, partnerships, and regional expansion

• Track performance metrics and adapt BD activities based on market trends and community insights

   

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of experience in crypto business development, sales, or growth (preferably within an exchange, trading platform, or Web3 project)
• Strong understanding of crypto trading communities, especially futures and derivatives users
• Ability to listen to market needs and execute quickly with a high sense of ownership
• Passion for blockchain, Web3, and the crypto derivatives ecosystem
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments

Nice to Have:

• Existing network of brokers, affiliates, KOLs, trading communities, or VIP traders
• Experience running BD or co-marketing campaigns with tier-1 KOLs or regional communities
• Knowledge of perpetual swaps, funding mechanisms, and futures trading behavior
