Design Manager

Design Direction & Quality Standards

You will define and evolve the overall design direction, ensuring consistency in how design decisions are made, communicated, and delivered. You will oversee and continuously improve the Design System and core design processes, setting clear quality benchmarks across all projects. You will help the team focus on the most impactful design work, aligning priorities with business and user value.

Presale & Discovery
You will participate in discovery and pre-sale calls, contribute to design estimates, scope definition, and risk assessment. You will clearly explain the design process, stages, and expected outcomes to clients and support the CEO in preparing proposals and Statements of Work.

Project Management (Design Scope)
You will plan design sprints, roadmaps, and releases while controlling deadlines and designer workload. You will proactively track risks and blockers, provide regular client updates, run demos and acceptance sessions, and conduct post-mortems to improve future projects.

Team Development
You will conduct regular design reviews and 1-on-1s, create individual growth plans for designers, and facilitate workshops, knowledge sharing, and internal guidelines. You will support the team in solving complex UX challenges.

Hands-on Design (When Needed)
You will step into critical or high-impact design tasks, present and defend design solutions to clients, and ensure pixel-perfect handoff to development.

Communication & Reporting
You will be the main point of contact with clients after kick-off, ensure transparent communication of statuses, risks, and changes, maintain project documentation in Notion, and regularly synchronize with the CEO.
