Middle+/Senior Data Engineer

What is the purpose of this position?

We are looking for a Middle+/Senior Data Engineer with 4+ years of commercial experience. Working alongside other engineers, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and leadership to transform raw data into reliable, high-quality datasets that support strategic decision-making. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with data architecture thinking, project ownership, and clear communication, particularly in international and multicultural environments.

Duration: 3 months, with potential extension.

Qualifications you`ll need to bring:

• 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer
• At least 4+ years of experience with Python 
• Excellent experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow / Cloud Composer (or equivalent orchestration tools)
• Advanced experience with SQL for analytics and data modeling
• Experience with Data Modeling
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT
• Good experience with Power BI
• Experience with Git
• ​​Familiarity with modern and upcoming standards
• Ability to work self-managing and autonomously
• Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with a customer
• English level - Upper-Intermediate

Nice to have: 

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks
• Exposure to real-time or streaming data architectures
