Senior Business / System Analyst, Toronto, Canada

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business / System Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support client discovery phases, identify pain points and improvement opportunities, and help translate business needs into clear functional requirements and delivery-ready specifications. This position requires hands-on experience in the manufacturing domain, with a solid understanding of operational workflows and business processes. 
Location: Toronto, Canada (ideally). We also consider candidates from Europe/UA with Canadian visa and ability to travel for crucial project phases. ​Can stick to European business hours.
Engagement: part-time or full-time, we are ready to discuss both.

Key Responsibilities: 
β€’ Conduct process discovery workshops with business stakeholders and operational teams;
β€’ Analyze current-state processes and identify:    
β—¦ inefficiencies;    
β—¦ bottlenecks;    
β—¦ repetitive/manual tasks;    
β—¦ opportunities for automation and optimization. 
β€’ Document business requirements as:    
β—¦ functional specifications;    
β—¦ user stories / acceptance criteria;    
β—¦ process maps and workflow documentation. 
β€’ Support delivery teams (engineering / DevOps / QA) by clarifying requirements and aligning expectations; 
β€’ Assist in defining project scope, priorities, KPIs, and success criteria; 
β€’ Contribute to solution validation, including supporting UAT preparation and feedback collection. 

Required Skills & Experience:
β€’ 4+ years of experience as Business Analyst / Product Analyst / Systems Analyst 
β€’ Manufacturing domain experience (required) β€” e.g.:    
β—¦ production & operations:
β—¦ quality control;    
β—¦ supply chain / logistics;    
β—¦ warehouse operations ;   
β—¦ ERP / MES-related workflows.
β€’ Strong experience in:    
β—¦ business process documentation (BPMN / flow diagrams);    
β—¦ writing user stories, epics, functional requirements;    
β—¦ working with cross-functional stakeholders.
β€’ Solid communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams.

Nice to Have: 
β€’ Understanding of enterprise IT systems and integrations (ERP, MES, CRM, WMS); 
β€’ Knowledge of data reporting, analytics, and BI tools;
β€’ Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
