Chief Operating Officer
Infobus is a leading company in the field of international and intercity bus transportation, helping thousands of passengers reach their destinations quickly, comfortably, and safely every day. We are committed to continuously improving our services and are looking for a talented and experienced Chief Operating Officer to help us optimize all processes and achieve new levels of efficiency.
This role is key to our company and requires strategic thinking, a deep understanding of operational activities, and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks covering all areas of Infobus’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Efficiency
- Analyze and optimize existing operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Implement new technologies and methodologies to automate and accelerate workflows.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas.
● Cost Management
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising service quality.
- Budgeting and cost control within the operational budget.
- Negotiate with suppliers and partners to secure the most favorable terms.
● Supply Management
- Optimize the supply chain, including cooperation with carriers and partners.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources (e.g., tickets, informational materials) for uninterrupted operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
● Customer Operations
- Ensure a high level of customer service at all stages of interaction.
- Optimize processes for handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to improve their performance and increase customer satisfaction.
● Workforce Productivity
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and productivity of operational teams.
- Optimize work schedules and resource allocation to maximize team productivity.
- Implement motivation systems and performance evaluation frameworks.
● Quality
- Develop and ensure compliance with quality standards across all operational processes.
- Implement service quality control systems.
- Analyze root causes of issues and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
We expect you to have:
- A higher education degree in management, economics, logistics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (Operations Manager, Head of Operations), preferably in the transportation, logistics, or travel industry.
- Deep understanding of operational management principles, supply chain management, and customer service.
- Proven experience in process optimization and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking and high-pressure environment.
- Proactivity, responsibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Confident proficiency in Ukrainian and English.
