The Gamzix team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Middle QA Engineer (Game Squad) who is passionate about quality and games, and who will help us deliver polished, stable, and engaging game experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive testing of the company’s games, covering both front-end and back-end functionality to detect functional defects, graphical inconsistencies, usability issues, and integration problems.
  • Design and execute test cases based on requirements, design documentation, and gameplay scenarios.
  • Review and analyze software requirements and specifications, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and areas requiring clarification.
  • Report, track, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps in the bug tracking system.
  • Collaborate with development, design, and production teams to support high-quality releases.
  • Conduct regression and smoke testing during builds and patches.
  • Maintain and update QA documentation for current and legacy projects.
  • Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover edge cases and hidden issues.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective team coordination.

Requirements:

 

  • 2 years of QA testing experience in gaming, with a focus on online slot games.
  • Solid understanding of and experience in software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with web debugging tools.
  • Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools.
  • Experience working with Jira or other bug tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and active participation in team ceremonies.
  • Understanding of game development pipelines and production cycles.
  • Understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Proficiency in software requirements analysis and clarification.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English.
