Head of Key Account Manager

As a Head of Key Account Manager you will play a strategic role in driving client success, operational excellence, and revenue growth while building and leading a high-performing team.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and daily management of the KAM team, ensuring high performance, client satisfaction, and business growth
  • Maintain, update, and enforce SOPs, guidelines, and internal manuals; ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements
  • Continuously refine KPIs and SLAs in line with company strategy and client expectations
  • Lead regular Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to maintain excellence in service delivery and account performance
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement cross-functional improvements to enhance workflows and client experience
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members; manage performance and take corrective actions when needed
  • Build deep product and industry expertise across payments, compliance, and fintech trends
  • Establish strong, long-term partnerships with key clients and translate feedback into product and service improvements
  • Drive profitability by launching and supporting client-driven initiatives and value-adding solutions

 

๐Ÿ”น Skills & Experience

We are looking for a leader with strong fintech expertise and a hands-on management background:

  • 2+ years of managerial experience leading a team of 3+ people
  • 4+ years in Fintech, Payments, or Financial Services (EMI, PSP, Bank, Consulting, iGaming, Crypto, Forex, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of payment infrastructures, card schemes, and alternative payment methods
  • Solid experience with KYB onboarding processes, preferably within EU or Canadian EMIs / PSPs
  • Deep knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, competitors, and market trends
  • Experience working across high-risk and low-to-medium risk industries
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English + fluent Ukrainian / Russian
  • Experience with crypto and PIS/AIS payment flows is a strong plus
