Backend Python Engineer

You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power modern digital products.
We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable working with APIs, databases, and cloud environments, and who enjoy solving complex technical challenges in distributed systems.

Depending on the project, you may join a product team at an early stage or strengthen an existing system under active development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python
• Build and support RESTful APIs and asynchronous processing workflows
• Integrate backend systems with third-party services and external APIs
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Implement messaging and background processing (queues, event-driven patterns)
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of backend solutions
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
• Strong experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Familiarity with Git and Linux-based environments
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or data-intensive platforms
• Experience working with AI/ML-driven products or data platforms
• Familiarity with LLM integrations, vector databases, or AI APIs
• Exposure to distributed or high-load systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native tooling
