Data Validation/Analytics
We’re looking for a sports-enthusiast analyst to work hands-on with complex datasets and turn imperfect data into something reliable and usable.
In this role, you’ll review datasets to identify incomplete, inconsistent, or unstructured data, and take part in validating, cleaning, and standardizing it for analysis. You’ll investigate missing or inconsistent parameters, explore why gaps exist, and use queries and logical thinking to dig into the data.
You’ll work closely with product owners to flag issues, validate fixes, and iterate until the data is complete and trustworthy. Once the data is stable, you’ll perform analytical reviews to detect anomalies, uncover hidden gaps, and surface additional data quality issues.
This is an iterative, problem-driven role where data is never “perfect”, and curiosity, precision, and strong analytical thinking are essential.
This is a potential full-time job, GMT+2 time zone, fully remote. Qualifications:
- High proficiency in Python
- High proficiency in SQL
- A genuine interest in sports is a strong plus (soccer, basketball, football, hockey, etc.)
- High proficiency in English is a must
- Highly responsive, super independent, and delivery-oriented.
Hiring steps: intro with recruiter, 2 assessments, meeting with data analytic from client's side.
