Technical Lead (Python+React.js)

On behalf of our Client from Netherlands, Mobilunity is looking for a Technical Lead.

Our Client is building a powerful new SaaS platform for premium restaurants to manage their own e-commerce, visibility, and retention—replacing tools like Shopify, Mailchimp, and Clavio with a tailored all-in-one solution.

To support this transformation, we’re seeking a hands-on Technical Lead who will architect solutions, guide developers, and collaborate deeply with product and business stakeholders. You’ll drive engineering decisions and ensure the delivery of scalable, clean, and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and technical decisions for the team.
• Actively contribute code in both Python (Django/FastAPI) and React/Next.js.
• Own system design and code quality across services.
• Guide and mentor developers in best practices, testing, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine specs and delivery goals.
• Drive technical execution across backend, frontend, and deployment layers.
• Interested in use of AI/code tools to improve engineering efficiency.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in full-stack engineering (Python, Django, React/Next.js).
• Experience building and scaling SaaS or multi-tenant architectures.
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL and GCP-based environments.
• Strong system design, testing, and debugging skills.
• Experience leading engineers in agile, product-oriented teams.
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and product-minded.

Nice to Have:

• Previous leadership in fast-paced startups.
• E-commerce, hospitality, or foodtech experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Cursor, Copilot).
