Power BI Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant to join our team.  This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of analytics solutions, and cares about data quality and usability.
 

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards end-to-end
• Translate business questions into KPIs, metrics, and analytical views
• Work with existing data models and contribute to their improvement
• Develop and maintain DAX measures, including time intelligence
• Transform and prepare data using Power Query
• Validate data, metrics, and insights with business stakeholders
• Ensure data accuracy, usability, and performance of reporting solutions
• Support users in understanding and adopting Power BI reports
• Improve and maintain existing reports and dashboards
• Document metrics, assumptions, and report logic

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience working with Power BI
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Good understanding of data modeling concepts and analytical best practices
• Confident use of DAX for measures and common analytical scenarios
• Practical experience with Power Query and data transformations
• Solid SQL skills for querying and validating data
• Experience working with CRM systems and business applications
• Understanding of Row-Level Security and basic data access concepts
• Ability to work independently on client-facing tasks
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Good English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Dynamics 365 or Dataverse
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric concepts and modern analytics platforms
• Experience working with shared datasets or semantic models
• Understanding of data quality and reporting standards
