QA Engineer to $2000

About the product

Product company building a live, high-load, real-time system with real users.
Work format: 2-week Scrum sprints, clear specs, Figma designs, stable automated CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Test backend-heavy functionality
• Validate REST APIs 
• Test client–server interactions, sync, reconnects, error handling
• Perform smoke, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Verify data consistency in databases
• Analyze logs and prepare clear bug reports
• Run daily stand-ups and facilitate team communication
• Take Scrum Master responsibilities when needed (ceremonies, follow-ups, process health)
• Collaborate closely with developers and product team

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of client–server architecture
• Experience testing REST APIs
• Understanding of real-time systems
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Solid QA fundamentals (test design, bug lifecycle)
• Ability to take ownership and lead processes
