About Drivio
Drivio is a driver education product (DMV / permit / CDL prep). We grow primarily through SEO content: state pages, guides, road signs encyclopedia, practice-test landing pages, and conversion flows to app installs/subscriptions.
What you’ll do
Strategy & planning
- Build and maintain a weekly SEO plan tied to traffic + conversions (installs/trials/subscriptions).
- Keyword research for US DMV / CDL intent, clustering, and content roadmap.
Content SEO (core)
- Create clear content briefs for our SEO writer (structure, headings, search intent, FAQs, internal links, entities).
- Improve existing pages: on-page optimization, CTR improvements, internal linking, cannibalization fixes.
- Coordinate with designers for SEO images where needed (briefs + naming/alt/captions).
Technical SEO (practical, not “enterprise”)
- Run technical audits (indexing, crawl, duplicates, redirects, canonicals, sitemap/robots, pagination).
- Improve Core Web Vitals basics with dev (prioritized list, not theory).
Authority & links
- Own a simple link acquisition plan (partnerships, outreach, directories, guest posts where appropriate).
- Track link quality and avoid risky tactics.
Analytics & reporting
- Weekly reporting in GSC/GA4: pages indexed, impressions, CTR, rankings, organic sessions, conversions.
- Turn data into actions (what we change next week).
Tools you should be comfortable with
- Google Search Console, GA4
- Ahrefs / Semrush (any one is fine)
Screaming Frog (or similar crawler)
Requirements (what we actually need)
- 3+ years SEO experience (product or agency), ideally content-heavy SEO.
- Proven cases: grew organic traffic on content sites OR improved conversions from organic.
- Strong English reading/writing for US SERP research (B1+ is usually enough).
- Able to work with writers/designers and give actionable briefs.
Nice to have
- Experience with programmatic SEO / templated pages
- Basic HTML understanding (titles, canonicals, schema, internal linking)
- App marketing awareness (organic → install → subscription funnel)
Hiring process
- Screen: ask for 2–3 case studies + what exactly they did.
- Short interview (30 min): walk through one case; ask how they’d grow “California DMV permit test guide” page.
- Paid test task (3–5 hours):
- Mini audit of our site (or a staging export)+
- Strategy Roadmap
- 1 content brief for a new page (keyword cluster + outline + internal links + FAQ ideas)
