SQL Developer Offline

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with deep, practical expertise in MS SQL Server, with a focus on query optimization, performance tuning, and the design of efficient database schemas. A key part of this role is reviewing, analyzing, and improving existing SQL and schema structures in production OLTP systems, as well as building new schemas from scratch based on business requirements. 

Requirements 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server as a SQL Developer. 
• Demonstrated practical experience in SQL query optimization in production environments. 
• Strong skills in analyzing execution plans, designing indexing strategies, and tuning performance. 
• Experience building new, production-ready database schemas from scratch. 
• Solid knowledge of OLTP database design principles and best practices. 
• Ability to present real examples of performance improvements or schema redesigns you have implemented. 

Nice-to-haves 

• Familiarity with SQL Server tools for performance monitoring (SQL Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs, etc.). 

Core Responsibilities 

• Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries in MS SQL Server (joins, subqueries, window functions, etc.). 
• Review and improve existing database schemas used in production systems. 
• Design and build new database schemas from scratch, ensuring performance and scalability. 
• Work with execution plans, indexes, statistics, and partitioning to enhance performance. 
• Diagnose bottlenecks and issues in production OLTP systems using monitoring and profiling tools. 
• Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient SQL and schema use across the platform. 
• Propose structural, architectural, and performance-oriented improvements.
