Chief Business Growth Officer (CBGO)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Business Growth Officer (CBGO) to lead and execute our growth strategy. This executive role will be responsible for driving revenue expansion, market penetration, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships while aligning product, marketing, sales, and commercial strategy to support long-term, sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong fintech domain expertise with a proven track record of scaling businesses in highly regulated and competitive environments.
 

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Define and lead the company’s overall growth strategy across products, markets, and customer segments
  • Identify and prioritize new revenue streams, business models, and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive scalable growth through customer acquisition, retention, and monetization initiatives

Commercial & Revenue Leadership

  • Own revenue targets and growth KPIs across all business lines
  • Oversee sales, partnerships, and commercial negotiations with enterprise clients, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners
  • Optimize pricing, unit economics, and lifetime value (LTV) metrics

Market Expansion & Partnerships

  • Lead market entry strategies for new geographies and verticals
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with banks, payment networks, regulators, fintech platforms, and technology providers
  • Represent the company in high-level external engagements and industry forums

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to align growth initiatives with product roadmaps and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure growth initiatives are data-driven and customer-centric

Data, Analytics & Performance

  • Leverage data analytics to measure growth performance, customer behavior, and funnel efficiency
  • Establish dashboards, forecasts, and reporting for executive and board-level decision-making

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in fintech, financial services, technology, or high-growth digital businesses
  • Proven success in senior growth, commercial, strategy, or business development roles
  • Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems, regulatory environments, and digital financial products
  • Demonstrated ability to scale revenue, launch new markets, and build strategic partnerships
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams and boards
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
  • Deep commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Fluent English
