Financial Analyst (Poland)

We are looking for a Financial Analyst for a remote work to support and oversee accounting, financial control, and reporting processes for our operations in Poland. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations, experience in corporate finance or accounting, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech/crypto environment. Fluency in Polish and Russian is required, with English being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the external accounting provider (outsourcing)
• Review and verification of the accuracy and completeness of financial reports provided by the outsourced provider
• Coordination of financial and tax accounting treatment for various operations
• Preparation of management reports and ad-hoc financial analysis for HQ
• Financial monitoring of cryptocurrency-related operations (exchanges, accounting, compliance)
• Communication with tax authorities and other regulatory bodies in Poland on matters related to finance, economics, taxation, and reporting (in Polish)
• Support of internal and external audits
• Participation in budgeting and forecasting
• Internal document control and compliance monitoring

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Solid understanding of Polish accounting and tax regulations
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate accounting and tax as well as financial control or analysis
• Proven experience working with outsourced accounting providers
• Knowledge of Polish and Russian (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Excel, Power Query and Google Sheets; knowledge of BI tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment involving crypto assets

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in the crypto or fintech industry
• Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting specifics
• ACCA, CPA, or similar certification
• Experience in international companies
• Knowledge of English language
