Automation QA Engineer (Python)

Required experience/skills:

• 3+ Years of Experience in Manual Testing of Mobile (iOS, Android) Applications;
• 2+ Years of Experience in Writing and Maintaining Automated Tests;
• Ability to Write Clean, Maintainable, and Reusable Code;
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles;
• Strong Knowledge of Python;
• Hands-on Experience with pytest Automation Frameworks;
• Experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket);
• Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
• Ability to Integrate Automated Tests into CI/CD Pipelines;
• Solid Experience in Testing RESTful APIs Using Tools Such as Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger;
• Experience in Creating Collections and Chaining API Tests with Authorization (Bearer Tokens, API Keys);
• Understanding of HTTP Methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), Status Codes, Headers, and Request/Response Formats (JSON, XML);
• Understanding of Logs and Debugging Server Responses;
• Experience in Writing and Executing Detailed Test Cases, Test Plans, Checklists, and Test Scenarios;
• Experience Using Test Case Management Systems (e.g., TestRail);
• Proficiency in Using Jira for Test Case and Defect Tracking;
• Strong Communication Skills to Collaborate with Development, Product, and Customer Teams;
• Upper-Intermediate Level of English.

Would be a plus:

• UI Automation would be a strong plus;
• Knowledge of Docker;
• Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed test plans;
• Create well-structured test cases;
• Automate created test cases and user flows;
• Maintain created test cases and user flows;
• Report found bugs in Jira;
• Retest fixes.
