Business Analyst / Product Owner

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong outcome-oriented mindset to play an active role in shaping the next phase of a multi-layer travel ecosystem for the Arabic market. The ideal candidate thrives in discovery, product conceptualization, and solution definition, acts independently, and is comfortable guiding cross-functional teams while liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

This role also offers opportunities to contribute as a Product Owner, supporting backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and implementation oversight. The successful candidate is proactive, adaptable, and open to creative approaches beyond traditional frameworks, ensuring business goals translate into tangible product outcomes.

 

Additional Opportunity: This role includes opportunities for on-site visits to Oman, allowing direct engagement with clients, participation in workshops, and first-hand insight into local business and user requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central source of truth for product requirements, business logic, and key decisions
  • Define and maintain product vision, digital solutions, scope, and functional requirements
  • Lead product discovery initiatives in collaboration with UX/UI designers, technical architects, and business stakeholders
  • Identify and analyze business needs, goals, and pain points through workshops, interviews, and research
  • Conduct market research and data-driven validation of assumptions, features, and hypotheses
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, including SRS, DoD, roadmaps, system models, and diagrams
  • Identify and propose improvements to user flows, UX/UI, and technical solutions to streamline implementation and reduce delivery effort
  • Maintain the product backlog, decomposing requirements into well-defined tasks with precise acceptance criteria
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, design, and development teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication
  • Guide prioritization, planning, and implementation phases of the product roadmap
  • Facilitate team meetings, workshops, and sessions with key stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, control scope, and monitor timelines to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate and/or lead cross-functional teams to ensure delivery efficiency and roadmap alignment
  • Act as a Product Owner when needed, actively shaping features, flows, and prioritization decisions
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve business analysis, productivity, and client-facing solutions

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product development, with demonstrated expertise in Business Analysis or Product Ownership
  • Proven experience in product discovery and full lifecycle development from ideation to launch
  • Strong autonomy and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams independently
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and requirement management tools
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, adapt approaches, and make data-informed decisions
  • Flexibility to collaborate across multiple teams and navigate complex, dynamic environments
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

 

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with the Arabic market
  • Participation in client on-site visits or discovery workshops
  • Background as a Product Owner or Project Manager
  • Experience in complex, highly regulated, or data-intensive industries
  • Experience in collecting and monitoring product and user behavior metrics
