We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join a healthcare project building insurance and employee wellness platforms.


We’re working on an ecosystem consisting of several independent platforms, which are planned to be merged in the future to streamline employer and employee enrollment, data submission to insurance carriers, access to Medical ID cards and insurance benefits, claims submission, etc.

 

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to work on an Enrollment Portal, a web application that allows employers and employees to fill out and submit digital versions of the Employer Application and Employee Enrollment Application to the insurance provider.

The MVP0 will include the Employer Enrollment Application and an Admin Panel, where admins will review, approve, or deny applications.

Post-MVP0 releases will introduce the Employee Portal, where employees will fill out their own applications, choose insurance plans and benefits for themselves and their families, access useful documents, and track their benefits


Team: 2x Backend Developers, 2x Frontend Developers, Solution Architect, PM, BA, QA, DevOps

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position of at least 3 years
  • English proficiency of at least Upper-Intermediate level 
  • Able to dive into a subject field quickly
  • Converting ideas into requirements, explaining them in an accessible way to the team, and knowledge base enrichment
  • Experience demonstrating/presenting implemented solutions to customers
  • Have experience working with task managers (ClickUp/Jira/Asana/Confluence)
     

Nice to have:

  • Ability to model and describe business processes using notations (UML, BPMN, eEPC, IDEF)
  • Knowledge of teamwork principles and agile development practices
  • Understanding of general DevOps principles and the software development life cycle
  • Basic code reading/understanding
  • Ability to work independently, build business analysis processes on the project from scratch
     

Responsibilities:

  • Write user stories, scripts (User Stories, Use Cases)
  • Writing documentation, presentations (if necessary). Preparing user documentation according to customer requirements
  • Elaborate low-formalized user requirements, capable of decomposing, evaluating, and ranking them (generating MVPs, using USM, Impact mapping)
  • Create solution prototypes and test hypotheses as needed; consult and help the UX team to make the interface of applications and web solutions not only the most usable, but also consistent with stakeholder requirements
  • Participate in integration, interaction and API design
  • Building user-friendly UIs, the ability to prototype UIs at a basic level (in Figma, Bolsamiq Mockups, etc.)
