Our Company continues to expand its R&D function and is currently seeking a professional who, through strong leadership and a systematic approach, will increase the speed and efficiency of our R&D processes.
The position of Head of Prototyping represents a significant opportunity for a professional who:

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Lead a team of systems engineers, analysts, and technicians based on defined performance metrics
• Plan team activities and resources, including the ability to scale the team according to the Company’s current needs
• Formulate and validate hypotheses and proposals for prototype development
• Take responsibility for the creation, availability, and maintenance of supporting technical documentation (schematic, functional, electrical, CAD, and other types of diagrams)
• Manage component selection and develop technical specifications for their procurement and/or manufacturing
• Participate in prototype testing and document research results to enable data-driven decision-making
• Ensure a continuous transition of projects through the stages of Proof of Idea — Proof of Concept / Technology — Industrial, in accordance with the department’s KPIs
• Monitor current trends and innovations in the MilTech sector and prepare proposals for testing component and module samples
   

What you bring to the team

• Experience managing R&D departments
• Experience in the development of UAVs or other complex hardware systems
• Hands-on experience in assembling and configuring UAV electronics (Ardupilot, PX4, widely used digital and analog communication modules, navigation systems, etc.)
• Practical experience working with sensors, lidars, cameras, and similar equipment
• Experience applying modern AI technologies
• Ability to ensure the availability and up-to-date status of technical documentation
• Ability and willingness to identify optimal solutions and justify technical decisions
• A responsible approach to deadlines and departmental objectives
• Fluent spoken Ukrainian and English, at B2 level or higher
