Product Owner

We are expanding the delivery team and hiring a Product Owner for a large-scale energy project that is already in the active delivery phase. This is not a greenfield or discovery-only role. The project is live, complex, and business-critical, and its results will directly influence the future of the Ukrainian energy sector, including its digital and green energy transformation.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Liaise with stakeholders and perform ongoing prioritization, publishing and refinement of the overall backlog in a project team and according to the project scope of deliverables;
  • Analysis and solution design with the team to transform scope into sprint backlogs;
  • Lead planning and the breakdown of the backlog into items, providing their definitions, acceptance criteria and estimates.
  • Collaboratively develop, present the functionality and collect feedback from end customers;
  • Report and escalate on the use of budget and expected due dates;
  • Document functional solutions designs and prepare delivery documentation.

 

Required skills:

 

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a product owner working in IT;
  • Mandatory: аt least one enterprise project delivered end-to-end (from start to production and stabilization);
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks;
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving;
  • Requirements engineering;
  • Excellent soft skills;
  • Mandatory: Ukrainian - native; English - Advanced;
  • BSc/BA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related for understanding of product solution architecture.
