Business Development Manager for WebSpellChecker

WebSpellChecker offers a portfolio of turnkey AI-powered text check solutions that encompass spelling, grammar and style correction for engineers, businesses, and individuals. The core product is WProofreader, available as a software development kit (SDK) and browser extension that can be used as SaaS and on-premise solution.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to build our outbound sales engine from scratch, design efficient lead workflows, and drive revenue.

 

What you will do

  • Build and implement an outbound sales strategy, starting with defining and segmenting Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
  • Define and set up the end-to-end sales flow: from lead generation to deal closing and transition to the Account Management team.
  • Execute hands-on outbound campaigns.
  • Orchestrate the sales cycle by actively involving the existing Sales/Account team.
  • Analyze sales metrics and conversion rates to continuously refine the outreach strategy and lead management process.

     

Knowledge and skills required

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B tech/SaaS sales with a strong focus on outbound.
  • Experience in building sales processes, scripts, and funnels from scratch.
  • Ability to understand and sell technical solutions to decision-makers.
  • Fluent level of spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with modern sales-related software such as CRMs, outreach automation tools, etc.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.

     

Would be a plus

  • Previous experience launching outbound directions for technical products.
  • Background in linguistics or AI-related technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, linguistics or a related field.
