Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to help shape a new digital solution for a global jewellery certification company, turning complex business processes into clear, scalable software.

About the Client:
An international company specialising in jewellery certification and verification services, working with manufacturers, retailers, and end customers across global markets.

The company delivers accurate, independent grading and evaluation services supported by scientific expertise and advanced technology, helping ensure trust, transparency, and consistency throughout the global jewellery industry.

Project Overview:
We are developing a new software solution to help the client grow their business and automate daily operations. The goal of the project is to make processes faster, more efficient, and easier to manage.

As the client’s technology partner, we are responsible for designing and building this solution and are currently forming a dedicated team to deliver the project. The Business Analyst will work closely with the client to understand their needs, define clear requirements, and ensure that the final product truly supports the client’s business goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with the client and the development team to make sure the solution truly supports the business and helps it grow.
• Learn how the client’s business works, including communication with people from different countries and backgrounds.
• Lead the discovery and pre-study phase by talking with stakeholders, asking the right questions, and clearly documenting their needs.
• Analyse current business processes and the existing legacy system.
• Work together with senior developers to understand the old system and code in order to support its upgrade and rewrite.
• Turn business needs into clear documentation: requirements, user stories, process flows, and use cases, even when no formal documentation exists.
• Manage requirements from start to finish and keep them up to date as the project evolves.
• Maintain and prioritise the project backlog so the team always works on the most important items.
• Take part in planning, estimation, and refinement sessions with the team.
• Act as the main communication link between the business side and the technical team.
• Pay strong attention to detail and focus on delivering real results.
• Help shape the solution together with senior developers to ensure that technical decisions align with business goals.
• Support change management and assist in preparing materials for user training and onboarding.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in software projects.
• Experience with product development and product launch.
• Proven experience in pre-study and discovery phases (must be able to show real examples).
• Experience working on large projects with many stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how software supports them.
• Experience working with global teams and international stakeholders.
• Experience with legacy systems and system upgrades.
• Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
• Confident with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Draw.io, and standard office software.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of the analysis process.
• Excellent communication skills and Advanced English (certification is a plus).
• High level of responsibility, ambition, and focus on results.
