Senior Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Team Lead)

About the client

We're a newly funded AI security startup building the defensive layer for agentic AI. You'll own our frontend architecture while working fullstack - setting the technical bar, shipping end-to-end features, and building a scalable UI platform from the ground up.

What You'll Do 

• Design and architect our frontend platform using React and modern styling (Tailwind, Radix/Shadcn) 

• Ship end-to-end features across frontend, APIs, backend, and infrastructure 

• Lead design reviews, set engineering standards, mentor the team

• Build CI/CD, observability, and frontend performance monitoring 

• Work directly with customers and translate feedback into product priorities 

• Help hire and shape the engineering team and culture 

What We're Looking For 

• 8+ years in production software, with Tech Lead/Staff/Principal experience 

• Deep React expertise — state management, component architecture, design systems 

• Modern tooling: TypeScript, Tailwind/CSS-in-JS, Vite, Jest/Playwright 

• Fullstack capability — comfortable with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure 

• Strong product sense; balance speed and quality for a seed-stage startup Nice to Have 

• Complex dashboards or data visualization experience 

• Security engineering background (AppSec, CSP, XSS prevention)

• AI/ML tooling or workflow automation experience 

• Early-stage startup or greenfield architecture leadership
