Liven is a product company that builds a companion for self-discovery.

💪🏻What will you enjoy most about being on the Liven team?

Since 2023, we’ve been scaling non-stop. We’re expanding the product, the team behind it, and our global reach. Liven has grown a lot since it was just a team of four. But our priority remains the same: building a vibrant culture where we share ideas, speedrun through challenges, and shape the business together.

We are currently forming new teams and are looking for iOS engineers of different seniority levels who can join us in our Kyiv or Warsaw offices.

How Will You Make An Impact?:

• The opportunity to join at the stage of designing new application functionality and directly influence the architecture, technology stack selection, and feature set.;
• Designing a maintainable and scalable architecture that meets all business requirements;
• Full-cycle development experience — from building an application from scratch to releasing it on the App Store and tracking lifecycle metrics;
• Active participation in improving development processes, technology stack, and engineering approaches;
• Building testing infrastructure;
• Integrating and effectively using up-to-date technologies;
• Working with custom UI of varying complexity.

What is important for us:

• 1+ years of experience working with Swift;
• Knowledge of the iOS platform and iOS SDK, including their capabilities and limitations;
• Practical application of SOLID / DRY / YAGNI / KISS principles — not just theoretical understanding, but applying them in every architectural decision and maintaining balance;
• Understanding of common architectural patterns: MVP, MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture;
• Understanding of the Application Components Lifecycle;
• Understanding of multithreaded system development principles, including knowledge of Thread, Handler, Looper, Deadlock, and Race Condition;
• Ability to create custom Views and animations;
• Experience developing and maintaining applications from scratch through release on the App Store;
• Attention to technical debt, with the ability to balance product development and refactoring;

• Examples of applications in the App Store that you have contributed to.
