Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer to join a healthcare client project and build AI-powered applications and automation systems that improve operational efficiency across engineering and business workflows.
The role focuses on developing full-stack applications integrated with AWS Bedrock and other AI services, building secure services for data access (including MCP-based integrations), and creating intelligent tools that help teams move faster from proof-of-concept to production-ready healthcare solutions.
You’ll work at the intersection of full-stack development, AI integration, and cloud-native architectures in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop full-stack applications leveraging AWS Bedrock to enable AI-driven automation and productivity;
- Build AI-powered tools for analytics, business process automation, and workflow optimization, including code review and documentation generation;
- Develop internal AI assistants and chatbots that help teams access information and complete tasks more efficiently;
- Architect and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) services for secure AI-driven access to healthcare data, including data discovery, validation, and quality monitoring;
- Develop backend APIs and services using Python and modern web frameworks;
- Build frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks with a focus on intuitive user experiences that abstract complex AI capabilities;
- Integrate applications with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Aurora Serverless;
- Implement role-based access controls, security best practices, and compliance requirements when working with regulated healthcare data.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies;
- Strong experience with AWS Bedrock and foundation model integration in applications;
- Advanced Python development skills with experience in web frameworks (FastAPI preferred);
- Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred);
- Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, S3, Aurora Serverless, Cognito);
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI services into applications;
- Strong background in API design and database architecture;
- Experience with security best practices and HIPAA compliance in web applications;
- Proven ability to work independently and drive complex technical projects.
- At least an Upper Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Will be a plus:
- Experience building MCP servers or similar AI integration systems (including RAG and vector databases);
- Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning or prompt engineering;
- Experience with data lake technologies and AWS Lake Formation;
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (CDK preferred);
- Experience with real-time web applications, containers, and microservices architectures;
- Background in healthcare technology or experience working with medical data.
