Junior/Middle FullStack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior/Middle Backend Developer to join our operational team and help build and maintain internal tools for business process automation. This role focuses primarily on backend development, integrations, and automation. Frontend skills are a strong advantage but not a requirement — we are not looking for a classic full-stack developer.
 

You will work closely with business stakeholders, automate real operational processes, and see direct impact from your work.
 

Requirements and qualifications
 

• 2+ years of hands-on programming experience;
• Strong knowledge of at least one backend language: Ruby (ideal), or Node.js / Python (with willingness to work with Ruby);
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and basic system design concepts;
• Experience building integrations with APIs and third-party services;
• Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar platforms;
• Ability to independently start and finish projects;
• Portfolio, GitHub profile, or live projects to showcase your work.
  
   

Nice to have (but not required)
 

• Experience with JavaScript and any modern frontend framework;
• Understanding of frontend basics and ability to work with existing UI code;
• Experience with low/no-code platforms (e.g. Power Apps or similar);
• Relevant technical education or ongoing studies in a related field;
• Early commercial or freelance development experience;
• Experience experimenting with AI-powered developer tools or local LLMs;
• Active use of modern coding assistants (Cursor, Windsurf, etc.).
  
   

What will you be doing?
 

• Develop backend services and internal tools to automate business processes;
• Build and maintain integrations between different systems and APIs;
• Maintain and improve existing internal systems and automations;
• Work in small project teams (usually 1–2 developers) with active communication across departments;
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and iterative improvements;
• Receive fast and direct feedback from internal users.
