Senior Crypto/Digital International Counsel

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel – Digital Assets who will become our in-house expert on cryptocurrency and blockchain-related legal matters. Your mission will be to build and maintain a robust legal framework that ensures compliance, protects the company, and enables seamless business operations in the rapidly evolving digital assets space.

You will take ownership of creating and negotiating contracts, designing legal structures for products and partnerships, and providing strategic legal guidance to all teams, from Product to Finance to Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legal strategies for digital assets, crypto products, and blockchain initiatives.
• Build, review, and negotiate contracts, including service agreements, partnership deals, and investment documents.
• Design legal structures for new products and business lines, ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management in the crypto and fintech context.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies and operations remain compliant with local and international laws.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Tech teams to provide legal support for operational decisions and product launches.
• Support tokenomics, custody solutions, and digital asset operations from a legal perspective.
• Conduct internal audits, review internal documentation, and provide training to staff on legal and compliance matters.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Legal frameworks and structures are established, documented, and consistently applied.
• All contracts and agreements are legally sound, executed, and minimize risk exposure.
• Compliance with applicable cryptocurrency, fintech, and international regulations.
• Legal advice enables timely product launches without unnecessary delays or legal risk.
• Internal teams are informed and trained on key legal and compliance requirements.

What We Expect:

• 4–6+ years of experience as a lawyer, with a focus on digital assets, blockchain, or fintech.
• Proven experience working in crypto companies or with cryptocurrency products.
• Strong knowledge of international and local crypto regulations, corporate structures, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts and legal documents.
• Ability to design corporate and operational legal structures for new products and partnerships.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English – Upper-Intermediate+; additional languages are a plus.
