Trainee System Administrator

We are seeking a motivated Trainee System Administrator/Office manager with a passion for technology and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will maintain our IT systems, ensure seamless operations and assist with office management. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in IT.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
System Administrator:

  • Manage MacOS and Windows workstations;
  • Manage device inventory and basic automation (MDM, asset tracking, access control system);
  • Configure and monitor backups, OS updates, and basic endpoint security; 
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, access rights, and permissions (Google Workspace, internal systems);
  • Support and maintain office network infrastructure (MikroTik, TP-Link, Wi-Fi, VPN); 
  • Provide basic website hosting and domain support (DNS, CloudFlare);
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers (ISPs, hardware suppliers, SaaS tools);
  • Support office hardware and equipment (printers, routers, meeting rooms);
  • Assist with hardware procurement, inventory management, and expense tracking;
     

Office Management:

  • Coordinate the delivery of water and food to ensure the office is well-stocked;
  • Manage and monitor the office budget, including expenses and financial planning;
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintain an inventory of all necessary supplies;
  • Organize and manage office events to promote team building and company culture;
  • Care for office plants, including regular watering and maintenance;
  • Maintain and service the coffee machine to ensure it is always in good working condition.

 

Requirements:  

  • Knowledge of MacOS, Windows, and network protocols;
  • Basic understanding of MacOS and Windows (user support, system settings, troubleshooting);
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing);
  • Familiarity with office network equipment (MikroTik, TP-Link โ€” at least at a basic level or strong willingness to learn);
  • Experience or hands-on practice with hardware setup (workstations, peripherals, basic diagnostics);
  • Basic Knowledge with Google Workspace (users, groups, permissions);
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple small tasks;
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and ask questions;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users; 
  • English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher (reading documentation and basic communication).
