Junior Technical Writer

Our Client is the Enterprise Worldwide Company. The product you will be working with, provides management and data processing/handling capabilities for networks of the clients scientific lab equipment such as microscopes, etc. The main goals are:

• Collection and centralized management of data outputs (measurement results, etc.) provided by clients devices
• Outdated data utilization
• Managing large volumes of data acquired from measurement devices in the cloud securely and reliably
• Seamless sharing of measurement data with collaborators
• The ability to share measurement results and accelerate customer service

Requirements:

We are looking for a Junior Technical Writer to help us bridge the gap between complex technology and the people who use it. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and support teams to create clear, concise, and helpful documentation.

The document’s language is English

• 1+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation for enterprise software users, system administrators, and other technical audiences
• Understanding of the documentation development process, the software development process, and product lifecycles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with globally-distributed and culturally-diverse departments
• Experience in proofreading and editing documentation
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Git, Draw.io, MS Office 365
• Excellent command of English

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Content: Draft, edit, and maintain User Manuals, API documentation, etc
• Learn the Product: Proactively use the software to understand its features and document them accurately from a user’s perspective
• Collaborate: Work with Senior Technical Writer, Developers and Product owners to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
• Standardize: Maintain a consistent voice and style across all documentation according to our internal style guide
• Improve UX: Identify areas where documentation is confusing and suggest ways to make information easier to find and digest
