Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Install, configure, and maintain office equipment (PCs, laptops, peripherals, network devices) in accordance with internal procedures
- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, including:
- workstations (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- office software
- network connectivity, VPN, and access to services
- Ensure uninterrupted and high-quality operation of office equipment and services: updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
- Maintain and update technical documentation and asset inventory for equipment and software
- Collaborate with suppliers of hardware and software: purchasing, ongoing service, and warranty support
- Participate in building and implementing information security policies, including MDM and DLP solutions
- Administer operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), including regular updates, patching, and performance tuning
- Monitor the network, internal services, cloud environments, and applications, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Handle system incidents, outages, and performance issues – from detection to full resolution
- Provide end-to-end ownership of incidents: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, and communication with stakeholders
- Work closely with R&D, DevOps, and QA teams to support environments and deployment pipelines
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes: issuing/returning equipment, creating/deactivating accounts, and configuring access
- Manage access controls and identity management (IAM): roles, permissions, groups, and compliance with security policies
- Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base and documentation related to infrastructure and operational procedures
- Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and relevant tools to reduce manual work and minimize errors
What Makes You A Strong Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience in a Technical Support Engineer / System Administrator or similar role
- Experience administering Linux, Windows, macOS, and office productivity software
- Strong understanding of hardware (PCs, laptops, peripherals) and ability to diagnose hardware issues
- Knowledge of networking concepts:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, iptables
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Experience with monitoring tools:
- maintaining up-to-date dashboards and alerts, adjusting alert rules
- Experience working with CRM systems, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: log analysis, debugging, and a structured approach to incident resolution
Mandatory Security-Related Requirements (MDM, DLP)
- Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions:
- enrolling and managing devices (Windows/macOS/mobile)
- applying security policies, disk encryption, and update management
- hands-on experience with tools like JumpCloud, Intune, Jamf or similar solutions is highly desirable
- Understanding of DLP (Data Loss Prevention) concepts and experience with DLP tools:
- configuring data control policies
- monitoring and handling DLP incidents
contributing to the design and implementation of rules to prevent leakage of sensitive information
Bonus Skills You Can Learn:
- Scripting for automation (Bash, Groovy)
- Basic database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL — backups, simple queries, basic configuration)
- Exposure to modern infrastructure & tooling, such as:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- GitLab (repositories, CI/CD)
- Docker (containers, basic commands, deploying small services)
- Ansible (configuration automation)
- JumpCloud (IdP/MDM)
- DLP solutions (administration, policy tuning)
- ScriptRunner (automation for Jira/Confluence)
