We are looking for an HR Lead to join our team in Kyiv. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and advancing the HR function to enable business growth, operational effectiveness, and long-term organizational scalability. 

Main responsibilities:
 

  • Build and maintain a cohesive HR architecture, including processes, roles, tools, and metrics.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, C-level leaders, and managers on people management and organisational matters, including complex cases.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from pre-onboarding to exit.
  • Develop, update, and maintain internal HR policies, ensuring compliance with Ukrainian and Polish labour legislation.
  • Design, implement, and support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, regular feedback, and development plans.
  • Contribute to the development of compensation and benefits approaches, including bonus and incentive schemes.
  • Initiate and coordinate learning and development programmes for managers and key roles.
  • Support knowledge retention and knowledge transfer in critical roles.
  • Lead HR budgeting and cost control.
  • Support the scaling of teams and organisational structures.
  • Drive corporate culture development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Administer the HRMS (PeopleForce), ensuring data accuracy and ongoing HR process automation.
  • Lead internal communications related to people initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team and the recruitment function, including internal mobility and workforce planning.
  • Manage the HR team (L&D Manager, C&B Specialist) and coordinate related functions.
  • Provide HR analytics and insights to support business decision-making.
     

Required experience and skills:
 

  • 6+ years of HR experience in tech / IT / B2B companies.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Lead, HR Business Partner, or Head of HR role.
  • English level B2 or higher.
  • Experience working in fast-changing environments (start-ups, business scaling, organisational transformation).
  • Hands-on experience administering HRIS and automating HR processes.
  • Proven experience launching, scaling, and automating HR processes, including policies, compensation frameworks, competencies, goal setting, and performance & feedback cycles.
  • Experience managing and developing an HR team.
  • Experience working with international teams and distributed offices.
  • Understanding of the key differences between Ukrainian and Polish labour legislation.
