Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT / QA Specialist with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Linux systems, virtual environments, and Quality Assurance processes, and will thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings. This is a long-term contract position with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities MUST:

• Manage and troubleshoot remote networking environments.
• Utilize Linux terminal commands for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration (e.g., ssh, ps, lsof, top).
• Support large-scale company patching workflows, ensuring updates are applied efficiently and safely.
• Conduct thorough Quality Assurance testing to ensure systems and processes meet high standards.
• Work with Virtual Machine (VM) environments, including creating, restoring, and navigating snapshots.
• Independently analyze issues, research solutions, and provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT operations and QA initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

• Solid IT background, with hands-on experience in remote networking.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux commands and system monitoring tools.
• Experience with large-scale patching workflows and QA processes.
• Proficiency in managing Virtual Machine (VM) environments and snapshots.
