📢 Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for a visionary Art Director with a strong background in eCommerce to lead and elevate brand’s creative expression across digital channels. You’ll drive visual consistency and storytelling, working cross-functionally to shape customer experiences that are as beautiful as they are effective.
❇️ Key Responsibilities:
🔸 Brand Guidelines:
- Own and evolve the brand book, ensuring clear, engaging, and accessible guidelines with practical examples for consistent application across all touchpoints.
- Guide internal teams and external partners on proper brand guideline application to ensure consistent execution.
- Deliver templates and review/approve creatives to maintain visual and tonal consistency.
- Review and approve creative work to maintain visual and tonal consistency.
- Regularly audit brand touchpoints and update guidelines based on new channels, campaigns, or business objectives.
- Create promotional, seasonal, and product launch campaign moodboards.
🔸 Visual Content & Storytelling:
- Collaborate with the email marketing team to conceptualize and design visually compelling email flows & campaigns that drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the content team to elevate creatives and visual storytelling across channels.
- Partner with the web team to create thoughtful UI/UX mockups that align with brand identity and enhance user experience.
- Review and approve copies across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency in tone of voice.
- Partner with the creative team on AI creative production and innovation - developing AI guidelines, creative guidelines, and best practices.
✅ Experience & Qualifications:
🔸 An ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in art direction, brand design, or a related creative leadership role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand systems, visual storytelling, and performance-driven design across digital touchpoints—including email, web, and social.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing email campaigns and flows that drive engagement and align with brand aesthetics.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms Klaviyo and an understanding of email design best practices (responsive design, accessibility, dark mode, etc.).
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, UI/UX principles, and content strategy.
- Experience working cross-functionally with email, content, and marketing teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; bonus points for motion.
- Experience in using AI tools to supercharge the creative process.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate creative ideas into actionable direction.
- Detail-oriented, brand-obsessed, and performance-minded.
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
➕ Experience with DAM systems and optimizing creative workflows is a plus.
