Game Developer (TypeScript / Cocos)

About the role

We are supporting a solid, well-established company operating in the regulated gaming industry in Italy.

This role is part of a long-term product team focused on high-quality 2D game development, compliance, and technical stability.

This is not a short-term or experimental project.

The team works with clear processes, realistic timelines, and a strong focus on quality and reliability.

What you will work on

• Development and maintenance of 2D games using TypeScript and Cocos
• Implementation of game features based on functional and technical specifications
• Testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
• Support of certification and compliance processes with external authorities
• Collaboration with game designers, artists, and fellow developers
• Technical support and knowledge sharing within the team

• TypeScript (required)
• Cocos (required)

What we are looking for

• Mid or Senior experience in game development
• Strong logical thinking, mathematics, and statistical understanding
• Experience in online games (regulated gaming experience is a strong advantage)
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication style
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Legal residence in Italy and valid work authorisation (mandatory)

Work model & contract

• Permanent contract (open-ended)
• 6-month probation period
• Hybrid working model with regular on-site presence in Cormano (Milan area)
• Occasional short business trips (events, training, industry fairs)

Nice to have

• Experience with iGaming, New Slot (Comma 6A) or VLT products
• Background in certified or cross-platform game projects
• Experience in international or multidisciplinary teams
