Senior Django Developer

We're looking for a senior developer who can take real ownership of an established B2B data platform—not just complete assigned tickets.

You'll lead key architecture decisions, set development standards, review and assign work, and help guide the platform's transition to Django and React. You'll also be responsible for its ongoing development, performance, reliability, and technical direction.
 

We move fast and care about hitting real product milestones. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, understands the business logic behind what they're building, and is comfortable pushing back when a requirement or proposed solution doesn't make sense.

Must have

• 6+ years of professional Python/Django experience
• Strong experience building REST APIs with Django REST Framework
• Has built and shipped systems from scratch, and owned a codebase long-term
• Experience with data-heavy applications (large datasets, complex querying, migrations)
• Comfortable leading: planning work, delegating tasks, and reviewing another developer's code
• Strong written and spoken English — you'll work directly with non-technical stakeholders
• 4+ hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time
• Advanced English speaking

Nice to have

• Hands-on React experience (our frontend stack)
• Experience rebuilding or migrating legacy systems (Symfony familiarity a bonus)
• Django Admin customization
• Third-party API integrations
