Position overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst with hands-on experience in AWS QuickSight to join our client’s team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and operational data to provide actionable insights for better decision-making in the retail space.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight to visualize key retail metrics such as sales performance, inventory levels, and pricing.
• Collect, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business needs.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI reports.
• Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Assist in identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis tasks and contribute to continuous reporting enhancements.
• Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in retail, supply chain, or related sectors.
• Practical experience with AWS QuickSight to build insightful dashboards and reports.
• Good understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience working in direct store delivery (DSD), retail, or FMCG industries.
• Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau, Power BI.
• Some exposure to Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.
• Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
