Web Developer

We are expanding our team and looking for an engineer to supervise websites and similar infrastructure around our products.

Processes and instruments

Tools and tech stack used:

• HTML, CSS/SASS.
• TypeScript, JavaScript.

• Static code generators, such as Jekyll and Hugo.

   

In everyday development, we use the following tools:

• Git, GitHub.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• GitHub Projects for defining milestones, releases, and tracking progress.

• IntelliJ tools, such as WebStorm.

   

Every code change we produce goes through a GitHub pull request review.

What you will do

Typical tasks in this position may include:

• Creating an HTML/CSS version of a new page on our website according to the design wireframe.
• Implementing a new customer feedback feature, from HTML/SASS on top of existing website code to integrating it with analytics platforms.

• Providing necessary assistance with coding in JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML/SASS during page redesign and updates.

   

This position does not assume performing any of the pure UI/UX design tasks, although such involvement is welcome.

Knowledge and skills required

• 3+ years of working experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in web browsers.
• Openness to new in general, and willingness to master new tools if they improve the delivery.

• At least an intermediate level of written and spoken English.

   

Would be a plus

• Past involvement with the tools we have in our stack, such as static website generators (Hugo, Jekyll).
• Hands-on experience with Google Firebase API, using it from both client- and server-side.
• Understanding the principles of SEO.
