Senior Roku BrightScript / SceneGraph Developer

A streaming platform is expanding its digital video ecosystem and launching a new suite of Connected TV (CTV) applications across Apple TV, Roku, Samsung Tizen, Google/Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
 

The goal is to deliver a modern, high-performance sports video experience with smooth playback, intuitive navigation, and seamless integration across Web, Mobile, and CTV devices. As a Senior Roku Developer, you will lead development of a brand-new Roku application built on BrightScript/SceneGraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a new Roku OTT application
• Build UI and video playback experiences using BrightScript + SceneGraph
• Integrate with our backend services (Node.js, GraphQL, MongoDB)
• Collaborate with cross-platform teams (React Web, React Native Mobile, Connected TV engineering)
• Ensure video performance, reliability, and smooth playback on Roku devices
   

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Roku development (required)
• Experience with OTT video platforms (Apple TV, Tizen, Google TV, Fire TV)
