Key Responsibilities

• Write SEO-optimized blog posts using AI tools, and other web content aligned with keyword strategies.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar accuracy, and consistency with the brand voice.
• Conduct backlink outreach to industry-specific blogs, directories, and media platforms.
• Develop relationships with webmasters for collaborative link-building opportunities.
• Track outreach efforts and measure link quality and performance.
• Submit and manage local citations across relevant directories (e.g., Yelp, Houzz, HomeStars).
• Monitor and update listings as needed to improve local SEO.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics).
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, CRMs, and basic CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• A self-starter attitude, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with local SEO or managing Google Business Profiles.
• Familiarity with HTML or on-page SEO.
• Knowledge of the home renovation or construction industry.
