Chief Accountant (Prague)

INFOBUS Holding is an international product IT company.

We are looking for a Chief Accountant who will take a key role in managing accounting in accordance with Czech legislation and be responsible for the stability and development of the company’s financial function.
 

This role is ideal for a professional who is confident in working with local regulations, ready to take ownership of processes, and motivated to build a transparent and efficient accounting system.
 

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience as an accountant / chief accountant in the Czech Republic
• Strong knowledge of Czech legislation and confident handling of VAT
• Experience working with the accounting software Pohoda
• Czech — working proficiency + Ukrainian or Russian
• Willingness to work from the office initially, with a transition to a hybrid format
   

Key Responsibilities

• Working in the Pohoda accounting program and managing accounting operations
• Controlling primary documentation and internal calculations
• Payroll calculation and submission of related reports
• Preparation of DPH, KH, and SH declarations
• Generating internal financial information for the team
• Interaction with tax and governmental authorities
• Gradual participation in improving the company’s financial processes
• Working within the internal Infobus system and daily interaction with its functionality
