Chief Accountant

An international payments group operating in multiple jurisdictions and using multi-currency accounting is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to handle holding and operational accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting for financial transactions based on verified data from the reconciliation and treasury departments
• Internal accounting: loans, services, management fees, monthly internal reconciliations
• Preparing data packages for external accounting firms in multiple jurisdictions
• Preparing payroll data for calculation and transfer to external accounting firms
• Participating in monthly closing and preparing data for the profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet
• Preparing management financial statements for the CEO
• Maintaining electronic archives and financial documentation.

Requirements:

• More than 4 years of experience as a Financial Accountant
• Experience working with holding structures and in a multi-jurisdictional environment
• Practical experience in PSP / payments / fintech is an advantage
• Understanding of crypto accounting at reporting level
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Proficiency with Jira and ERP systems
• REQUIRED: English — strong working knowledge (reporting and business communication)
• REQUIRED: Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian.
