Senior Retention Consultant (iGaming / VIP)

We are building a next-generation retention and loyalty infrastructure for licensed online casinos.

Our goal is to help operators increase player lifetime value, reduce churn, and strengthen VIP relationships through modern, data-driven retention mechanics.

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Retention Consultant with deep iGaming expertise to help us shape the foundation of the product.

This is a part-time advisory role, ideal for a senior professional who understands player behavior and wants to influence a new industry-level solution.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

1. Retention Framework & Architecture

• Design a comprehensive retention structure applicable across casino sizes and geographies.

• Develop core retention loops and lifecycle programs:

• onboarding sequences

• reactivation flows

• reload cycles

• anti-churn mechanisms

• automated journeys

• gamification layers

• cashback / lossback systems

• seasonal and personalized campaigns

 

2. VIP & High-Value Player Programs

• Define best practices for VIP player management and personal host workflows.

• Build communication patterns, scripts, and reward structures.

• Develop “surprise & delight” concepts and experiential retention tools.

• Provide psychological insights into VIP motivation, triggers, and risks.

 

3. Economics & KPI Modeling

• Create bonus cost models and retention economics.

• Set benchmarks for healthy retention performance (LTV, ARPU, RFM segments, churn, bonus load, etc.).

• Optimize campaign profitability while maintaining sustainable player engagement.

 

4. Productization & Automation

• Translate retention concepts into product requirements:

• segmentation logic

• triggers and rules

• communication templates

• bonus configuration

• Help define a rules-engine approach that supports scalable automation.

• Review UX flows for player-facing loyalty features.

 

5. Advisory & Operational Input

• Audit operator retention processes and provide actionable insights.

• Assist with first implementations and pilot projects.

• Support the creation of operational playbooks and CRM guidelines.

 

 

Requirements

 

Must-have:

• 3–5+ years in iGaming retention, CRM, player engagement, or VIP operations.

• Strong understanding of player behavior, motivation, and segmentation.

• Hands-on experience running retention campaigns (email, SMS, in-app, bonuses).

• Proven expertise in VIP player management.

• Comfort with analytics and KPIs (LTV, ARPU, DAU, churn, RFM).

• Ability to turn retention strategies into actionable workflows.

 

Nice-to-have:

• Experience designing CRM/retention frameworks from scratch.

• Work in established Tier-1 operators or high-scale affiliates.

• Experience with bonus abuse prevention, AML, and responsible gaming considerations.

• Previous consultancy or advisory background.
